When it comes to hypnosis, it is rather common that it is used for ending a smoking habit, lowering stress and weight loss. The biggest blunder almost everyone make when they hunt for any personal change is they apply will power, otherwise known as force, and though this is not the triumphant way people continue doing it because they don't know a more advantageous way. That other approach is by utilizing hypnosis. All behaviors, good or negative, are stored in the subconscious mind and the subconscious does not respond to force. normal life examples are when we consciously try (use of will power) to either get to sleep or remember something we have retained, we become perturbedand tense because it doesn't work.
Whenever we implement this approach, the more we try, the more difficult it is. We must accept it is truly more effective, comfortable and easy when you move aside, remove the conscious in this process. But why then does everyone continue doing it? Ego. The conscious mind is our ego and almost everyone wants to believe "we" are in control and "we" make things happen. Let me just say it's not so! Consider all of the amazing processes below the level of consciousness like cell regeneration, procreation, healing, creativity, the ability to sleep and wake without any conscious thought and even a deeper awareness that we call a gut feeling or our intuition. How many times do we say, "I knew I should have gone with my first thought?" And we always regret not doing so. But why didn't we?
as I already explained, it's ego. Our ego, conscious mind, becomes involved in that subtle message we receive referred to as a gut feeling, analyzes it and thinks, no, that's not what I need to do. Again let me just say, that's false! Our internal feeling is our intuition. It's how all of nature exists and functions without any of the drawbacks we thinking beings go through. Whenever needing a change in your habits, thoughts and feelings that are not helpful and hold you back from being your best, think about the approach that is safe, natural and effective, hypnosis. If will power worked we would all be what we want to be... but we're not.
